UKHSA: Action Counters Terrorism Training

When

11 September 2025
13:30 - 16:00

EPRR UKHSA London Region

We will be running Action Counters Terrorism training in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police and UKHSA security teams. ACT training is an important training session that forms part of the UK Governments CONTEST strategy and the new Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, more commonly known as Martyn’s law. The session provides staff with key knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to situations, such as:

  • Identify and responding to suspicious behaviour
  • Identifying and dealing with a suspicious item
  • What to do in the event of a bomb threat
  • What to do in the event of a firearms attack.

Those that have attended the training have found it to be beneficial in both their professional and personal lives, and 100% of attendees have stated that they would recommend this training to their colleagues. The session will run on the 11th of September from 13:30 for 2hrs 30mins.
