Addressing Domestic Abuse in Health Visiting: IRISi want to hear your views

The IRISi team is working to adapt the widely commissioned IRIS (identification and referral to improve safety) programme for patients and professionals in Health Visiting settings. We are looking for Health Visitors, Nurse Practitioners, Nursery Nurses, other HV team members and commissioners of HV services (working from London) to take part in focus groups to help shape the adapted model and materials.

1.5 hour focus group sessions will be held online on the following days:

  • We support the local commissioning, implementation and growth of the IRIS (Identification and Referral to Improve Safety) and ADViSE (Assessing for Domestic Violence in Sexual Health Environments) programmes, including bid development, training for trainers, ongoing support, national analysis and monitoring
  • We collaborate with partners to develop innovative, evidence-based health interventions for those affected by gender-based violence
  • We provide expert advice and consultancy in the field of domestic violence and abuse and health
