SUMMARY:Addressing Domestic Abuse in Health Visiting: IRISi want to hear yo

DESCRIPTION:The IRISi team is working to adapt the widely commissioned IRIS
  (identification and referral to improve safety) programme for patients an
 d professionals in Health Visiting settings. We are looking for Health Vis
 itors\, Nurse Practitioners\, Nursery Nurses\, other HV team members and c
 ommissioners of HV services (working from London) to take part in focus gr
 oups to help shape the adapted model and materials. \n\n1.5 hour focus gro
 up sessions will be held online on the following days:\n\n- Wednesday 5 J

 hed in 2017 to promote and improve the healthcare response to gender-based
  violence (GBV).\n\nWe are building a network of partners who share our vi
 sion and have the drive to create sustained change.\n\nOur vision is a wor
 ld in which gender-based violence is consistently recognised and addressed
  as a health issue.\n\nOur mission is to improve the healthcare response t
 o gender-based violence through health and specialist services working tog
 ether.\n\n 	We support the local commissioning\, implementation and growth
  of the IRIS (Identification and Referral to Improve Safety) and ADViSE (A
 ssessing for Domestic Violence in Sexual Health Environments) programmes\,
  including bid development\, training for trainers\, ongoing support\, nat
 ional analysis and monitoring\n 	We collaborate with partners to develop i
 nnovative\, evidence-based health interventions for those affected by gend
 er-based violence\n 	We provide expert advice and consultancy in the field
