Research tells us again and again that minoritised communities and vulnerable groups experience more harms online, and that digital technologies may be amplifying inequalities. The impact upon mental health for these groups may be even greater. Yet in health and social care services, any discussion of these harms has often been experienced by young people as ‘off limits’.
Following the first wave of the Ofcom supported, ‘Media Literacy and Mental Health Training’, stem4 have developed a highly accessible, lightning training, that can be completed over the course of a morning.
The complete training can also be accessed On Demand for free, at a day and time that suits, until the end of March 2024 here.
