13:00 - 14:30

  • Health Equity

OHID (DHSC), UKHSA and NHS England are holding this event to support colleagues across the health and social care system to drive action on inclusion health and multiple disadvantage.

The session will:

 1. Introduce new resources that have been co-developed by OHID (DHSC), NHS England, local authority and ICB representatives, Pathway and other VCSEs. The resources are intended to support organisational and system work at a local level and include:

  • Inclusion health data and intelligence resource for England: An interactive resource that contains a summary of statistics in the public domain and provides supporting information to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Briefing pack: Driving action in a new system landscape: An adaptable slide set to support action on inclusion health and multiple disadvantage. It can be used as a full pack, or you can select relevant sections to tailor to audience, role, and local priorities.
  • Inclusion health self-assessment tool: An engagement and reflection tool to assess progress on inclusion health based on the NHS England framework.
  • Inclusion health safeguarding self-assessment tool: Anengagement tool developed by Transformation Partners in Health and Care in collaboration with Pathway, NHS England London, London region ICBs and OHID to help understand safeguarding activity and explore the impact of safeguarding activities championed in the NHS England framework.
  • Inclusion health services mapping tool:An Excel-based tool developed by UCLH (Find & Treat) and UKHSA designed for local planners and commissioners to map inclusion health services. It collects service-level data to create a local snapshot of provision which supports monitoring and evaluation against the NHS Inclusion Health Framework and NICE NG214 (Homelessness health and care).

2. Provide an opportunity to hear from case studies from across the country.
