ADPH London Children and Young People’s Network
ADPH London works with partners including Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) London, NHS London and the Greater London Authority (GLA) in addressing the pan-London challenges associated with the health of Children and Young People (CYP).
London Children and Young Peoples Network (CYP Network)
This network is hosted by ADPH London and meets on a quarterly basis. The network is open to colleagues who work on CYP at a local level and regional partners. It is an opportunity to share knowledge, learn and hear about what is happening in boroughs as well as at pan-London level.
Aims of Network:
- ADPH London aims to provide strategic leadership and advocacy for children and young people’s health in London, and work in partnership to address pan-London challenges to giving children and young people the best start in life.
- Share best practice and evidence base across London
- Allow opportunity/space for collaboration and be a vehicle for disseminating key intelligence to CYP leads in London to support the health improvement agenda and addressing health inequalities
Membership
The network is open to:
- Directors of Public Health (DPH)
- Consultants in Public Health (CPH)
- Officer/ Strategist (or equivalent) level public health professionals
- Regional programme and policy leads

- Sebastian Dennis-Beron Public Health Strategist at ADPH London, is the network co-ordinator
Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Community of Practice (CYP MH CoP)
This group is jointly run with OHID London. It meets quarterly to share knowledge, learn and hear about what is happening in boroughs as well as at pan-London level specifically related to children’s mental health. The community of practice is led by Jackie Chin, CPH at OHID London, and co-ordinated by Sebastian Dennis-Beron, Public Health Strategist at ADPH London.
