6 Years of Fast Track Cities London

This week we are celebrating six years since joining the global Fast-Track Cities network. Thanks to all partners for their role in propelling the city towards zero new HIV transmissions, zero preventable deaths, and zero HIV stigma by 2030, while also aiming to improve the quality of life and health for people living with HIV. Take a look at the anniversary video https://youtu.be/Obh-qobN-iI which showcases highlights of our journey.

We are marking this 6th anniversary with a couple of important announcements.

Firstly, we are launching the Getting to Zero collaborative. This new partnership will put peer support in every HIV clinic in London while also offering the vital wrap around advice and support people need to stay in care, including counselling, welfare and housing advice, nutritional guidance, and specialised support packages. We are launching eight, voluntary sector led, initiatives that promise a robust and inclusive approach to HIV care in London. Read more here.

Secondly, the first London wide HIV GP champion network is up and running. This will be a one-year project involving 16 GPs dedicated to enhancing care for people living with HIV. For details on your local GP champion, email rf-tr.londonftci@nhs.net and explore further information on our website here: https://fasttrackcities.london/london-hiv-champion-network/.

Thank you for being part of London’s journey towards zero by 2030!
