ADPH Call for Evidence Response: New Towns – Creating Communities

Following the Government’s ambition to build new towns and expanded settlements, the House of Lords Built Environment Committee has called for evidence to support its second module.

In our submission, we have outlined:

• The importance of considering the wider determinants of health, inclusivity, and accessibility when planning and developing new towns.
• Our recommendations on how the built environment can be used to support health and encourage healthy lifestyles.
