Who We Are
We are a pan-London programme, working to increase HIV prevention in the capital. The
programme is hosted by Lambeth Council, on behalf of and working with all London
Councils. Through this work, we contribute to the UK Government’s ambition of
achieving zero new HIV infections by 2030.
Areas of Work
Outreach and community engagement to key populations
These services include targeted outreach, point of care HIV testing, the promotion of
Sexual Health London’s online service, distribution of free condoms and lubricants, and
signposting to relevant and appropriate service and support.

London HIV Prevention Resident Survey
The London HIV Prevention Programme has commissioned the public health consultancy, PHAST to better understand the HIV prevention needs of Black heritage communities in London. As part of this work, a resident survey has been launched to better understand the HIV prevention needs, knowledge, and attitudes of Black heritage communities in London. The insights gathered from this survey will directly shape future services, ensuring they meet the needs of these communities more effectively. The survey is open until 9 February 2025.
