UKHSA are pleased to share that the Local Authority Risk and Adaptation (LARA) Toolkit – Heat Edition has now been published and is available for local authorities to download and use.
The toolkit, provided as an MS Excel spreadsheet, supports local authorities to assess their preparedness, identify gaps, and strengthen action to reduce the health impacts of extreme heat. A supporting completion guide is also available to help you work through the tool effectively.
Launch webinar
A national launch webinar will take place at 2:00pm on Thursday 4th June, providing an overview of the toolkit, how it has been developed, and how local authorities can use it in practice.
