You’re warmly invited to the 13th meeting of Thrive LDN’s Climate & Mental Health Forum on Wednesday 12 August, 11am-12.30pm, via Microsoft Teams.
Agenda
1. Welcome and introductions (11.00-11.10) – including a chance to chat one-on-one with others.
2. ClimateKind project update (11.10-11.35) – including a summary of the first eight months of the project, and a presentation from project partner Clean Slate on their Rainy Day Money programme (which is increasing climate resilience for people on low incomes).
3. Forum member updates (11.35-12.00) – including a talk from Vanessa at ParkBathe about their work to help people reconnect with local green spaces in London; also, time for any of you to share news, opportunities, resources and more.
4. Extreme heat & public mental health in London (12.00-12.25) – an interactive discussion on how recent heatwaves have affected you and your communities, and whether there is enough information and support available to help people cope.
5. Summary & close (12.25-12.30)
Remuneration
In line with Thrive LDN’s remuneration statement, £37.50 per attendee per Forum meeting is available for those not attending during paid working hours (up to two people per organisation). This covers 90 minutes meeting time at £25 per hour.
Eligible participants include freelancers, young people, experts by lived experience, and small grassroots organisations.
If you think you are eligible for renumeration, please let me know by the end of Friday 7th August, and we’ll be in touch to confirm the process. Payments are subject to budget availability.
