Building Health Equity: Tackling Racism and Ethnic Inequalities in London
Objectives
This London Public Health Forum brings together public health leaders, practitioners, and their teams from across London to:
• Understanding the health impact of ethnic disparities and structural racism, and possible system solutions through the Institute of Health Equity London report.
• Ensuring attendees have a safe place to discuss challenging issues.
• Hearing from system leaders on improving health in ethnically minoritised groups.
• Discussing what role the public health community should be playing in improving health across ethnic groups.
• Improving EDI in terms of recruitment, retention and promotion in the public health workforce and community.
• Sharing best practice and local innovation across public health community and beyond into health and care.
• Suggesting where to get further relevant information and support.
