The session will include a demonstration of both tools, information to help you to use them in your work and a Q&A.
The GLA has recently launched the London Green Infrastructure Framework (LGIF), a map-based tool and strategic evidence base for anyone involved in green infrastructure (GI) planning, design, delivery and management in London. The LGIF combines key London-wide data relevant to GI in one place in an interactive web-map to help you identify where and how to invest in new or improved GI to maximise its benefits for Londoners, nature and climate resilience.
The Local Nature Recovery Strategy for London (LNRS) is a new tool that sets out collectively agreed priorities for nature in London (‘biodiversity priorities’) and measures to achieve these. It also maps opportunity areas where those measures could be implemented to help nature in London thrive.
The LGIF and LNRS are powerful new tools to help you understand what and where the greatest needs and opportunities are for improving green infrastructure and nature in London.
