Smokefree Generation: Regional Briefings
The Tobacco and Vapes Act represents one of the most significant public health reforms in a generation. Delivering the Smokefree Generation will require close collaboration between national government, local authorities, enforcement agencies, the NHS and regional partners.
ASH, working with regional Smokefree Action Coalition (SFAC) group and OHID regions, are delivering a series of regional engagement workshops to support local preparation for implementation.
These workshops are designed to:
- Build understanding of the Smokefree Generation legislation and implementation timetable.
- Share the latest national guidance and communications plans.
- Explore the practical activities organisations need to take to support implementation.
- Strengthen regional partnerships and encourage shared learning.
We hope everyone will leave with the start of a plan of action for the Autumn to maximise this public health moment.
