Stories of Hope: A World Suicide Prevention Day Film Premiere
On 10 September, to mark World Suicide Prevention Day, members of the public and professionals are invited to Stories of Hope, a film premiere at Lumiere Cinema, Romford.
Co-produced by members of Havering’s Suicide Prevention Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG) alongside Havering Adult College and Havering Public Health, the event will showcase a powerful short film exploring suicide prevention, recovery, hope and personal lived experiences. Through storytelling, the film aims to challenge stigma, encourage open conversations and promote greater understanding of suicide and mental health.
There will be two separate sessions, one from 2-5pm and another from 5-6:30pm. While both sessions feature the film screening and live Q&A discussion, they are independent events and require separate registration.
