Public Mental Health Network

The Public Mental Health (PMH) Network, hosted by ADPH London, brings together London local authority public health leads to strengthen prevention and promote mental wellbeing across adult populations.

Public mental health is central to reducing inequalities and improving outcomes across the life course. This network provides a space for shared learning, collaboration, and evidence-led action to support prevention, inclusion, and system-wide improvement.

Who it’s for
London local authority mental health leads and public health colleagues, with relevant partners joining where appropriate.

How it works

  • Meets quarterly (three online, one in-person)
  • Member-led sessions focused on practical challenges and solutions
  • Opportunities to connect, share learning, and build partnerships across boroughs

Aim
To support members to:

  • Strengthen prevention and mental wellbeing
  • Share effective practice and evidence
  • Build connections that support joined-up, system-wide approaches
  • Translate learning into local action
