Workforce Training and Education Directorate – London

The NHSE-London Workforce Training and Education Directorate invites you to a 90‑minute virtual London workshop to help shape the revised Public Health Skills & Knowledge Framework (PHSKF).

The PHSKF underpins public health practice, professional development and workforce planning. This workshop is part of a national engagement process and is an opportunity for colleagues across the London public health system to influence how the framework evolves to meet current and future workforce needs.

The workshop will:

  • Provide a short overview of the PHSKF, why it matters and how it is used
  • Explore how the revised framework could better support public health practice and career development
  • Gather your insights on skills, knowledge and capabilities needed for today’s and future public health challenges
  • Create space for discussion across different roles, organisations and career stages

Who should attend

This session is open to public health staff whose primary role is public health practice, across:

  • Local authorities
  • NHS and UKHSA
  • Other public health system partners

All roles and levels of seniority are welcome.
