Advancing Equalities in Perinatal Mental Health: Domestic Abuse

This webinar will explore the intersection of perinatal mental health and domestic violence and abuse (DV&A), with a focus on early intervention and effective support. It is particularly relevant for professionals working across the perinatal and children and young people’s mental health pathways.

With 1 in 4 women in the UK experiencing domestic abuse—and 30% of cases starting during pregnancy—this session will provide vital insights, including clinical perspectives, research, and good practice examples.

The session will be chaired by Dr Heather O’Mahen, National Clinical Advisor, and will be recorded for later access via the Future NHS Collaboration platform.
