The Mayor of London has launched his Health Inequalities Strategy Implementation Plan 2025-28.
The plan sets out how the Mayor, City Hall and all our partners are furthering our commitment to tackling the root causes of poor health ranging from child wellbeing and poor mental health to structural inequality, unaffordable housing and economic inequality.
The world has changed significantly since the Health Inequalities Strategy was first published in 2018. COVID-19, the cost-of-living crisis, and entrenched inequalities threaten the wellbeing of too many Londoners.
There’s real reason for optimism – not only because of the Mayor’s leadership and the actions this plan sets in motion, but because it’s part of a broader effort across the NHS, local government, and communities working together.
You are invited to read the plan, share it with your networks and and play your part in making this a collective effort.
