We are pleased to announce that we will be running a masterclass on local government law and practice, which will be held virtually on Tuesday 3rd June.
This workshop will be delivered by Luis Andrade, Principal Lawyer (Adults, Children and Education Team) at Hertfordshire County Council, who specialises in providing advice on Adult Care, Child Protection and Public Health, as well as colleagues from Bevan Brittan LLP.
Key topics of discussion will include:
Working with your lawyers.
Understanding local government.
Challenges arising from reducing budgets – consultation and partner decision-making.
Places, people and the role of a DPH.
