We have submitted our response to the Government’s consultation on banning unlicensed gambling sponsorship in Great Britain, highlighting that:
- The gambling industry takes a pervasive approach to advertising that targets vulnerable groups.
- Increased exposure to advertising is associated with a greater risk of gambling harm.
- The Government should introduce a gambling advertising, promotion and sponsorship (GAPS) ban that applies to both licensed and unlicensed gambling sponsorship and advertising.
