ADPH in Parliament

Yesterday, Greg Fell OBE, ADPH President and Director of Public Health for Sheffield City Council, and Darrell Gale, ADPH spokesperson for healthy places and Director of Public Health for East Sussex County Council, attended the All Parliamentary Group on Dietary Health, organised by Obesity Health Alliance.

During the event, they met with parliamentarians, including Sharon Hodgson MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department of Health and Social Care, and colleagues from across the public health sector to discuss how Directors of Public Health and their teams can support the Government’s ambitions to strengthen healthy food systems and improve community health and wellbeing.
