Prevention first

Earlier today, ADPH President Greg Fell took to the podium at the New Statesman’s Future of Healthcare Conference 2025.

Greg took part in the first panel discussion, entitled ‘Prevention First: How can we tackle the root causes of poor health?’, appearing alongside:

• Alex McIntyre MP – Member of the Health and Social Care Select Committee
• Phin Foster – Editor (Spotlight) New Statesman

Greg talked about the important role of policy in shaping the wider determinants of health like poor quality housing, air quality and employment and why health is not the same as healthcare.
