Despite progress in reducing premature deaths, CVD continues to drive health inequalities and place a significant burden on the healthcare system, and economy. Our updated WGLL tool on CVD sets out a clear vision for effective CVD prevention – highlighting the key risk factors, the impact of late diagnosis, and the importance of early intervention.
