Associate Member Workshop 2023
This year’s Annual Associate Member workshop focused on the theme of health inequalities and discussed different approaches for tackling these within local authorities.
The workshop was opened by Professor Owolabi, Director of Health Inequalities at NHS England. Professor Owolabi shared her experience in managing public health in the context of health inequities.
A session on Leadership and the role of DPH was also held, with DsPH from across the UK discussing their experiences and sharing advice for those considering undertaking the role.
