West Midlands Public Health Alliance Conference 2026
The Health Protection Tapestry: Weaving Together People, Protection, and Preparedness
The 2026 West Midlands Public Health Conference took place on the 27th March, at the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton.
Our aim was to bring together partners from across the region who are united by a commitment to protecting and improving the health of our communities. This gathering was an opportunity to reconnect, re energise, and reaffirm our shared purpose at a time when strong collaboration matters more than ever. Together, we explored how a confident, connected health protection system can:
Confront and reduce inequalities that continue to shape people’s health and opportunities
Strengthen our collective resilience in the face of system-wide pressures and rapid change
Learn from one another through shared case studies, research, innovation, and lived experience
Shape the next phase of our regional health protection journey with clarity, ambition, and unity
Copies of the slides from each speaker are linked below, as well as posters on any one of a broad range of topics from infectious disease management to research to stakeholder engagement to prevention to environmental topics.
