Anti-Racism Update Summer 2026
Over the summer, we have had many new and exciting things happening involving anti-racism work within the North West. July saw the Driving Race Equity and International Festival of Public Health take place, with the DPH at Blackburn with Darwen and chair of the NW PH Anti-Racism Collaborative, Abdul Razaq, attending and presenting on the topic of anti-racism.
The Public Health Anti-Racism Collaborative met on 4th August and colleagues who attended the conferences expressed how beneficial they found the learning and shared the useful takeaways gained from discussions and talks with guest speakers.
