UKHSA Knowledge & Library Service Training

For Local Authority Staff:

The Knowledge & Evidence Specialist for local authority public health teams in the North East, Yorkshire and Humber, is Sarah Catton

The LAPH KES team offer access to experienced public health librarians, research subscriptions and specialist public health databases in order to support the local public health workforce with their knowledge and evidence activities.

Services include:

Literature searching

A literature search involves a systematic search of the relevant databases and resources to find the evidence to support your projects, practice and decision making.

Literature search resharing

Before you embark on a new project or report you may also want to see what literature searches have already been undertaken by UKHSA KLS Knowledge and Evidence Specialists on that topic or evidence gap.

If you are not already receiving regular updates of lit searches requested by LA PH teams across England which are available to share, please email Sarah Catton to be added to the NE LA PH email distribution list.
