Celebrating the Work of Practitioners
Our event celebrated the work of practitioners and those working towards registration through the UKPHR practitioner scheme and the Level 6 Public Health Practitioner Apprenticeship route. It also contributed to continuing professional development and provided a valuable networking opportunity.
A series of presentations gave delegates an insight into the breadth and impact of the contribution practitioners make to the public health system and how this work evidences their competence as valued members of the public health workforce. There were opportunities to acknowledge the achievement of recent registrants and consider the career pathway from practitioner registration to public health specialist.
