The second workshop of the UKRI funded homelessness project led by Professor Monique Lhussier and Dr Christina Cooper at Northumbria University will take place on Thursday 12 September 2024 between 12 noon and 2.30pm in room 306 of the Northumberland Building on Northumbria University City campus and online.
Following on from the launch event in May, the primary focus of this event will be trauma informed care in homelessness. The workshop will begin with a networking lunch (approx 30 minutes) and will be followed by presentations and discussions around what trauma informed care currently looks like in practice, how it might be developed in the future and what role creative activities might play.
Feel free to share this invitation with any organisations in the North East and North Cumbria region providing care, support or advice to people experiencing homelessness who have an interest in improving health and reducing inequalities for people experiencing homelessness.
