The English Infants, Children and Young People Commissioners Group (EICYPCG) are holding an online launch event on Tuesday 25th November from 13:30 to 16:00.
Established in May 2025, EICYPCG is a peer-led network which aims to provide a strategic forum for those with commissioning responsibility for the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme (HCP) public health services in England.
The launch event will feature national representatives from the Department of Health and Social Care, who will provide an update on the upcoming refresh of the Healthy Child Programme guidance, expected to be published in December or early next year. We will also hear from the Institute of Health Visiting and the School and Public Health Nurses Association, who will share their perspectives on future priorities for 0-19 HCP commissioning.
A key part of the session will be a collaborative workshop focused on shaping the future priorities of EICYPCG. This will be an opportunity for members to identify and agree on the key challenges the group should address and influence moving forward.
