SUMMARY:Exploring NHS Health Check delivery in the North East and North Cum
 bria – developing research priorities and partnerships.
DESCRIPTION:A research event jointly hosted by the ADPH NHS Health Check ne
 twork and Fuse\, The Centre for Translational Research in Public Health.\n
 \nThis event aims to bring together stakeholders involved within the deliv
 ery of the NHS Health Check including commissioners\, providers\, research
 ers\, and community voices to build collaborative relationships and explor
 e the priorities for research in relation to the NHS Health Checks in the 
 North East and North Cumbria.\n\nSpeakers to set the scene will include fo
 r example Dr Louise Tanner and Dr Ryan Kenny (Newcastle University/NIHR In
 novation Observatory) with updates on their NHS Health Checks Systematic R
 eview and the North East North Cumbria ICB Cardiovascular Disease network.
 \n\nWorkshop activity will focus upon\; health inequalities\, building the
  evidence base\, identifying where there are gaps in the evidence base\, p
 roviding a continuous and consistent approach to evaluation\, identifying 
 resources to fund research\, and building networks and collaborative relat
 ionships between stakeholders and researchers.\n\nWho is the event for?\n\
 nThe event is for anyone working with the NHS Health check including acade
 mics and researchers\, NHS Health Check network members\, Cardiovascular D
 isease (CVD) Prevention network members and clinical leads\, NHS Health Ch
 eck providers and commissioners\, local authority leads\, community repres
 entatives\, data managers\, Healthwatch representatives and public health.
 \n\nWhat will I gain from this?\n\nYou will have the opportunity to contri
 bute your perspectives on building working relationships between researche
 rs and stakeholders delivering and commissioning NHS Health Checks\, explo
 ring research priorities and addressing evidence gaps. In addition to faci
 litating research to support local practice.
