 f so\, come along to hear about how we have developed a package of materia
 ls to help you plan and run an introductory workshop or briefing session f
 or key colleagues on the Commercial Determinants of Health.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n
 Developed through action research and tested in five local authorities\, t
 he materials include:\n\n 	A ‘start here’ introductory and overview do
 cument\n 	Learning objectives\n 	A menu of options for content and deliver
 y methods\n 	Sample agendas\n 	Draft invite text\n 	Delivery materials –
  including slides\, facilitator guides\, handouts\, case studies and poste
 rs\n 	A general facilitator guide that shares some more detailed reflectio
 ns about experiences running the sessions based on the interim analysis do
 ne as part of the research and how to approach facilitation overall\n\n&nb
 sp\;\n\nWe are holding a launch event for public health staff to find out 
 more. Speakers will include:\n\n 	Alice Wiseman\, DPH for Gateshead &amp\;
  Newcastle and Vice-President of the Association of Directors of Public He
 alth \n 	Local public health research partners who tried the materials out
  \n 	The core research team: Anna Brook\, Public Health Registrar and lead
  researcher\, Dr May van Schalkwyk and Professor Mark Petticrew\, Commerci
 al Determinants of Health Research Group\, LSHTM \n\n \nWho should attend
 ?\nThis launch event is for UK public health professionals working in or c
 losely with local authorities who may wish to use the materials. Please on
 ly share with colleagues within this definition. NB Public health staff wo
 rking in NHS or other settings may also apply to register.\n\nThis looks t
 o be a very useful event given the crossover between Gambling Harms and th
 e CDoH.
