SUMMARY:Webinar: Work Well Partnership Programme (WWPP)
DESCRIPTION:OHID’s national Health and Work Directorate invites you to jo
 in a webinar to hear about the WorkWell Partnership Programme (WWPP) which
  was announced at spring budget as part of a package of proposals to help 
 address economic inactivity.\n\nThis is an opportunity to design and deliv
 er your own service in local partnerships to support your aims of improvin
 g your population health\, reducing health inequalities and supporting soc
 ial and economic development. The programme will be locally led\, bringing
  together the NHS\, local authorities and other partners\, in collaboratio
 n with jobcentres. \n\nThe programme will pilot support for disabled peopl
 e and people with health conditions who want help to remain in\, return to
  or take up work.  Services funded by the pilot will be in place from autu
 mn 2024 and will provide light touch work and health support\, with the ai
 m of preventing and reducing economic inactivity and inequality among disa
 bled people and people with health conditions. Participants will receive o
 ne to one support from a work and health specialist\, who can offer advice
  on managing health conditions in work. \n \nThe OHID Health and Work Dire
 ctorate welcome the opportunity to tell you more about the proposals\, to 
 hear your views and to understand how we can work together on this excitin
 g new initiative.   There will be a short webinar presentation on Thursday
  13 July and again on Tuesday 18 July to introduce the programme\, set out
  the timeline and generate some early interest in advance of the formal  l
 aunch of an expressions of interest process in the autumn.\n\nClick here t
