The main webinar will be pre-recorded\, before we then go into live Q&am p\;A at the end.\nIt is aimed at public health professionals and those wor king in emergency planning and response roles or working with patients and the public at the NHS\, national and local government or voluntary and co mmunity sector.\n\nThe webinar will:\n• update stakeholders on changes o f the Adverse Weather and Health Plan (AWHP) and signpost users to new mat erial\n• provide an update of the latest revised Cold Health Guidance an d Cold Health Alert system as part of the AWHP\n• discuss the latest wea ther forecast for winter 2024/2025\n• share reflections on winter 2023/2 024\, including observed public health impacts of cold weather and extreme cold\n• explain how the Weather Health Alerting System and the National Severe Weather Warning Service work\n• bring useful presentations to th e audience on lessons identified and preparedness of the social care servi ces and community and voluntary services\n• discuss the role of local an d national authorities in the implementation of the AWHP for protecting health during periods of cold weather (e.g. low temperatures and snow\, an d extreme cold).\n\n \;\n\nThe webinar will be hosted online via Micro soft Teams Live.
