SUMMARY:The Provider Selection (PSR) Regime Policy Webinar
DESCRIPTION:This session is open to anyone working in a relevant authority 
 who wishes to learn more about the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) and how
  to implement it. Relevant authorities as defined in the National Health S
 ervice Act 2006 include NHS England\, integrated care boards\, NHS trusts 
 and foundation trusts\, and local or combined authorities.\n\nIn this sess
 ion\, the team provide an overview of the key information regarding the PS
 R including:\n\n 	the aims and scope of the PSR\n 	what the different pr
 ovider selection processes are under the new regime\, and when to appl
 y them\n 	key criteria overview – understanding the key criteria that 
 must be considered when arranging healthcare services under the PSR\, and 
 how to apply these to decisions\n 	specific elements and requirements of e
 ach process\, including what must be done after a decision has been made t
 o award a contract\, and how this decision may be reviewed\n 	modification
 s and urgent circumstances – the conditions that allow a contract to be 
 modified\, and how to award or modify a contract in an urgent situation\n 
 	the transparency requirements and the need for robust record keeping unde
 r the PSR\n 	transitional arrangements –  how to deal with award proces
 ses that commenced\, or contracts that were awarded\, under the previous r
 egime\, now that the PSR is in force.\n\nThe session will also direct you 
 to other key resources and support offers available to help you to impleme
