SUMMARY:Smoking and Vaping SIG: Launch Event
DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Public Health is launching a new Smoking and Vap
 ing Special Interest Group (SIG) to increase advocacy and knowledge-shari
 ng around this key public health issue. Smoking remains the single biggest
  cause of preventable disease and death.\n\nIt was announced in the King
 ’s Speech that reintroduction of the Tobacco and Vapes Bill was an early
  priority for the Government\, providing an opportunity to save thousands 
 of lives\, protect the next generation\, and reduce health inequalities.\n
 \nWe are holding a SIG launch event to consider key priorities around smok
 ing and vaping and where the new SIG can make the biggest impact in this e
