DESCRIPTION:Join The London Joint Working Group on Substance Use and Hepati
 tis for an engaging session with Professor Magdalena Harris\, London Schoo
 l of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine\, who will be sharing research on the S
 afe Inhalation Pipe Provision (SIPP) Project and national progress. This w
 ill be an exciting opportunity to hear evidence-based harm reduction inter
 ventions with the aim of reducing health risks and enhancing service engag
 ement amongst crack and heroin users.\n\nPublic Health teams will have the
  chance to hear from the London Joint Working Group (LJWG) who will share 
 a survey carried out at their Hackney Harm Reduction Hub. The LJWG are sur
 veying the need for safe inhalation pipes in the drug using communities an
 d the use of homemade equipment leading to serious health risks. Attendees
  will engage in a discussion to explore potential solutions to the need an
 d share insights on data gathering.\n\nDate: Thursday 12 December 2024\n\
