SUMMARY:Fuse\, Teesside University\, Newcastle University\, OHID: Planning 
 for a Healthier Food Environment
DESCRIPTION:A new\, free e-learning course called Planning for a Healthier 
 Food Environment has been launched to support local authorities and commun
 ities in using the planning system to promote healthier diets and reduce o
 besity. The course was developed through a collaborative effort between Fu
 se (the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health)\, academic exp
 erts from Teesside University and Newcastle University\, and the Office fo
 r Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).\n\nThis one-hour online event
  will introduce the wider policy and planning context for the course\, pro
 vide insights into its cross-disciplinary development\, and outline how th
 e resource can be applied in practice to support healthier\, more equitabl
 e environments.\n\nProgramme\n\n \n\nWhat you will gain\n\n 	A clear unde
