SUMMARY:FPH: Smoking and Vaping SIG launch event
DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) is launching a new Smoking a
 nd Vaping Special Interest Group (SIG) to increase advocacy and knowledge
 -sharing around this key public health issue. Smoking remains the single b
 iggest cause of preventable disease and death.\n\nIt was announced in the 
 King’s Speech that reintroduction of the Tobacco and Vapes Bill was an e
 arly priority for the Government\, providing an opportunity to save thousa
 nds of lives\, protect the next generation\, and reduce health inequalitie
 s.\n\nWe are holding a SIG launch event to consider key priorities around 
 smoking and vaping and where the new SIG can make the biggest impact in th
