 te change is the single biggest threat to population health. Public health
  professionals have a key role to play in climate mitigation and adaptatio
 n. Therefore\, public health registrars need to gain the competencies requ
 ired to lead in this field.\n\nAcquiring these competencies requires exper
 ience and exposure to the myriad organisations and sectors involved in mit
 igation and adaptation.\n\nIn this workshop\, we will be discussing how th
 ese competencies can be achieved as part of a balanced training programme\
 , including examples presented by current registrars.\n\nThe event is open
  to all stakeholders involved in public health training\, particularly reg
