SUMMARY:Q&amp\;A: Aspiring Public Health Leaders Programme (Cohort 9)
DESCRIPTION:Applications are now open for Cohort 9 of the Aspiring Public H
 ealth Leaders Programme (formerly the Aspiring Directors of Public Health
  Programme).\n\nThe programme\, provided by the University of Birmingham\
 , supports the development of senior leaders capable of system-wide\, co
 llaborative leadership to improve population health outcomes. It combines 
 in-person and online immersive workshops\, coaching\, and reflective pract
 ice to prepare participants for senior public health roles.\n\nEligibility
  \n\nThis programme is aimed at individuals who:\n\n 	Have at least 2 yea
 rs’ experience in public health leadership roles\; and\n 	Aspire to move
  into a senior leadership role (e.g. Local Authority Director of Public H
 ealth\, ICB Director of Population Health\, Deputy Director roles in UKHSA
  or OHID) within the next three years\; or\n 	Are currently occupying a s
 imilar role on an interim basis.\n\nThis year\, we would particularly wel
 come applications from people living or working in areas that are under
 going local government reorganisation that may create new Director of 
 Public Health posts.\n\nApplication Process\n\n 	Applicants must secure a 
 sponsor (line manager or organisational sponsor)\, who will complete the s
 ponsor form included in the application pack. As this is a key part of the
  selection process\, applicants should allow sufficient time to coordinate
  with their sponsor ahead of the deadline.\n 	The programme providers will
  host a 1-hour live Q&amp\;A session on 2 July at 2pm to support prospec
 tive applicants and answer any questions about the programme or applicatio
