ADPH/RSPH 160th anniversary celebration
Now and then: 160 years of championing the public’s health
Wednesday 19th October, at 4:30-7pm, London
This year sees the 160th anniversary of the ADPH and RSPH. As both organisations can trace their history back to 1856 – and the formation of the Metropolitan Association of Medical Officers of Health, we are holding a special event to commemorate our birthday.
Hosted by Phillip Woodward, Chair-elect of RSPH and Andrew Furber, President of ADPH, the celebration will include a special lecture from Dr Alex Mold, Senior Lecturer at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Deputy Director of the Centre for History in Public Health, who will give an overview of how the public’s health has changed since 1856.
Please see the details in this leaflet.
