CMO ADPH Event for DsPH in England
Monday 12th May 2014
9:45 – 16:15
BAFTA 105 Picadilly, London W1J 9LN
This joint event from the Department of Health and the Association of Directors of Public Health identifies future trends in the healthcare sector as well as highlighting and sharing current best practices. Professor Dame Sally Davies, CMO and co-chair of the conference writes;
“As Head of Profession for Directors of Public Health (DsPH) in England I am delighted to join with the Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH) to formally invite you to a conference for DsPH on 12 May, at BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) in London. Our aim is to provide a networking opportunity for DsPH to communicate with each other and to allow myself and ADPH colleagues to hear what you have to say. Each speaker will be followed by a Q&A session/open platform for discussion – we want you to share your experiences (good and bad) in a structured, positive atmosphere. I personally hope to meet as many of you as possible. I also welcome the opportunity to introduce you to Professor David Walker, Deputy Chief Medical Officer who many of you will know already as he was previously Regional Director of Public Health East Midlands.”
BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts), 195 Piccadilly, London, W1J 9LN. For assistance with travel, parking or access issue please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The timings for the day are 9:45 – 16:15. We have consciously built in substantial time for networking. A finalised agenda with more detail and speakers’ biographies will be available next week.
